參賽細則 Competition Rules
1 是次比賽分小學(小一至小六)、初中(中一至中三)及高中(中四至中六)三組別。
2. 全港現就讀中小學學生可自由組隊參加,每隊人數3-5人。
3. 凡參加者需獲校方或老師同意,惟每間學校推薦之各組別參賽隊伍不得多於3隊。
4. 每隊參賽者需附上題目,以及約500字(小學生)或約1,000字(中學生)的說明,內容包括:歷史場景的背景、重要性、對當時或後世的影響,以及參賽者各人的分工。
5. 小學組須以成語故事為題,初中及高中組須以歷史場景為題。初賽以Minecraft場景遞交,決賽則以影片形式遞交。
6. 由歷史學家、IT專家及主辦機構代表組織的評審團,將根據參賽影片中歷史場景的像真度、創意(如增加互動元素及問題的創意)及對場景的理解而評分。
7. 凡成功報名者,每隊可獲分配200 x 200 blocks空間興建作品,以及技術支援。
8. 成功報名者,每隊可獲免費參加系列培訓課程。
9. 初賽入圍者,另需定期面見技術支援及歷史專家,報告進展或詢問問題。
10. 2020年1月初,將選出各組冠、亞、季軍及優異獎2名。冠軍每組可獲獎金8, 000港元三聯書店書券,亞軍每組可獲獎金5, 000港元三聯書店書券,季軍每組可獲獎金3, 000港元三聯書店書券,優異獎每位組員可獲禮品乙份。
11. 最後得獎者將有機會被安排到不同地點作分享,而各參賽者作品賽後將免費提供學校作教學用途。
12.如有任何爭議,主辦機構有最後決定權。
1. Entries to the competition are divided into 3 groups: Primary Students (P.1- P.6), Junior High Students (F.1-F.3) and Senior High Students (F.4-F.6).
2. All primary and secondary students in Hong Kong are eligible to join by forming a team of 3-5 people freely.
3. Participating teams should submit their applications with approval from the schools or teachers and each school can recommend up to 3 teams for each group.
4. Each team should submit their selected topic with a written description in 500 words for Primary entries and 1,000 words for Secondary entries. The text should cover the following: the background and importance of their selected Chinese historical scene, as well as its impact at that time or afterwards, along with the division of work among team members.
5. Participants of the Primary School Group need to choose a Chinese Idiom as theme. Participants of the Junior High School and Senior High School Group need to choose a historical scene as theme. The submissions for the First Round should be in Minecraft Scene format while the submissions for the Second Round should be in video format.
6. A judging panel consisting of historians, IT experts and representatives from the organizers will score each of the entries on the level of vividness, creativity (such as the interactive elements and questions to add) and comprehension against the selected Chinese historical scene from videos.
7. Each successfully registered team will be allocated a 200 x 200 blocks of space to build their works. All team members will receive technical support.
8. Successful applicant teams will receive a series of training courses for free.
9. First-round entries applicant teams will need to meet with the technical support specialists and historians to report progress or ask questions that they might have.
10. In early January 2020, the champion, first and second runner-ups of each group will be selected and awarded HK$8000, HK$5000 and HK$3000 Joint Publishing gift certificates respectively. There will also be 2 merits for each group and each team members of them will be awarded a present.
11. Winners will be invited to share their collections in different places and the works of all participants will be given away to schools for teaching purposes.
12. In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizers shall be final.
